Have your party at the Bug Zoo™! Click here for pictures Click here for a printable version of the rental agreement Bring your party of Grubs and Larvae (or creepy colleagues) and celebrate that birthday, special occasion, or business function at the Bug Zoo! The Party Room rental includes the following: •   tables and chairs and coat racks •   disposable plates, cutlery, napkins and cups •   use of the modern kitchen and preparation area (fridge, sink,microwave, kettle, cleaning supplies) •   use of the sound system (please bring your own CDs) •   use of washrooms Room Rental does not include: •   admission to the exhibits (regular rates apply for the tour) •   birthday cake, snacks or beverages (please feel free to bring your own or hire a caterer!) •   candles (please bring your own - NB. NO SPARKLERS ALLOWED!) Optional with rental (at an additional charge): •   A/V equipment •   goody bags ($7 each) •   helium -filled balloons ($1.25 each) •   party hats or special decorations Cost for the two hour rental is $80 (+ tax) and $20 for each additional half hour. Please call ahead to arrange a viewing of the Party Room or check out the photos. We don’t mean to ‘bug ya’ but there are Rules and Regulations •   A credit card must be provided to hold a reservation. •   If cancellation is necessary we require 1 month advance notice. In the event of a cancellation on short notice a $50 fee will be charged to the credit card. •   A credit card number will also be kept on file as a damage deposit. In the event of damage (eg broken window, stolen items, etc) the credit card will be used to fix or replace the items. •   There is no food or drink allowed in the exhibits area or gift shop at any time. •   Children must be accompanied by adults at all times (including exhibits). •   In order to accommodate all parties fairly guests are expected to arrive and depart at their scheduled times. No exceptions please! •   Items left in the party room are left at the owner’s risk. •   The Party Room and Kitchenette area must be cleaned prior to leaving in preparation for the next guest (cleaning supplies are provided). If the room is left in a mess there will be a clean up fee applied to the credit card on file (minimum $20). •   For rentals after regular Bug Zoo hours an “after hours” surcharge will apply. •   No smoking allowed anywhere on premises. •   Liquor licence must be obtained by rental party (if desired) and a copy provided to the Bug Zoo 24 hours in advance. •   A rental contract must be signed prior to arrival.
